Anyone can scroll Marketplace. FlipWire checks every promising listing against eBay sold prices — the all-in number a buyer really paid, matched to condition — and alerts Pro members only when the asking price clears their margin goal. Updated October 28, 2026.
Marketplace flip alerts are a Pro feature — start free, see your area's ranked sales, and upgrade when the flips prove it.
Sold, not asking. Comps come from completed eBay sales in the last 90 days — never listing averages, never live bids. All-in. The sold price plus shipping the buyer paid, because that is the real market price. Condition-matched. A sealed comp never prices a used item. Your number, not ours. Alerts fire at your margin goal — 20, 30, 40 or 50% — set once in your profile.
Verified: condition-matched sold comps support the margin at your goal. Only Verified alerts carry a max-buy price. Estimate: promising, but the comp evidence is not clean yet — labeled Estimate, no number attached. If we can't verify it, we say so.
Live today — the scan is operator-run per metro and expands where members are.

Estate sales by city ↗ Yard sales by city ↗Every candidate is checked against eBay SOLD listings — completed sales from the last 90 days, all-in (sold price plus the shipping the buyer paid), matched to the item's condition. Never asking-price averages, never live bids. If the asking price clears your margin goal against that sold evidence, it can become an alert.
Verified means condition-matched sold comps back the margin — only then does an alert show a max-buy price. Estimate means the item looks promising but no clean comp exists yet (wrong-condition comps or stale data), so it is labeled Estimate and shown with no number attached. We would rather label a flip than fake one.
Never. FlipWire scans centrally, by metro — subscribers give us a ZIP, categories and a margin goal, and nothing else. Anyone who asks for your Facebook password to run a scan is not us.
The scan runs live in Palm Beach County, Florida today, and expands metro by metro — it is operator-run, so it grows where demand is. Estate sale and yard sale coverage is already nationwide; every free signup ZIP counts as a vote for where the Marketplace scan lands next.
